Priscilla Johnson

Priscilla JohnsonWith over half of married couples divorcing in the United States today, I am passionate about providing adults with an opportunity of change. My desire is to assist couples who are trying to navigate the possibility of divorce or the decision of divorce. Through an Interpersonal Therapeutic Approach, I hope to provide some insight into what has brought the couple to this point in their relationship and provide guidance for how to move forward in a healthy and positive direction. Not only are adults who are pursuing or contemplating divorce suffering during this period in life, but moreover the children of the these parents could be developing lasting negative effects. Through family counseling using a Family Systems Therapeutic Approach, I hope to assist in developing a strong family unit that provides children with a sense of belonging, value and support even when in the face of divorcing parents.
